An allright villa compound just a few minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from Shanghai.
I have lived here with my family for about a year now and I would say I am pretty satisfied (8/10).
Pros:
– The compound is very family-friendly. A lot of nice and great neighbours with kids that speak English.
– Great gym facilities
– Nice and green surroundings, traffic-free garden and a perfect and safe place for small children to play.
– Easy access to the city centre and the airport. It is definately worth buying or renting a car while living in this compound.
Cons:
– Can be long wait for taxis in the mornings (therefor I would agan really suggest to get the car).
– A bit far away from the Subway.
A great advantage of choosing Sunridge Villa in Shanghai is that the management are generally very helpful and quick to respond. My communication with them were “excellent”. Really helpful and nice people that takes every enquiry serious.
And yes, they speak good English. At least most of them.
Even though there are not many restaurants around the villa compound, there are always easy to order food through different websites. Our villa had a great western kitchen, which made us able to cook food every day so this was not really an issue for us.
