A British private owned alternative in the heart of Shanghai
The British International School Shanghai is a part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools – a “family” that operates in 31 different countries and has more than 20,000 students worldwide.
You find two campuses in Shanghai, one on the Pudong side of the Huangpu River and one in Puxi. Both campuses are more than ten years old, which makes this one of the best traditional alternatives for British children in Shanghai.
Even though the school is private owned, it follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
Social community
One of the things this school is famous for is the good community among the parents. A lot of social events are being held throughout a full school year, such as the annual Welcome Back Party, the Christmas Fair and the International Food Evening.
